Basta sfruttamento e guerre! Proletari di tutti i paesi, uniamoci!

NO SACRIFICES FOR THIS SYSTEM:
MAY DAY 2026 AGAINST WAR AND NATIONALISM!
The times we live in are growing ever darker. The incurable crisis of capitalism, caused by insufficient profits, is transforming competition among capitalists into a struggle between States. The only “way out” lies in the massive destruction of capital, in the hope of kickstarting a new cycle of accumulation.
The specter of a new world war is becoming increasingly real: the imperialist predators are preparing for the next clash. For decades, the United States has sought to isolate and contain the Chinese enemy. The latest attacks on Venezuela first and then on Iran are not caused by Trump’s madness: they follow the same logic as the Obama and Biden administrations. Protectionism, sanctions aimed at the Chinese economy (but also at the “friendly” EU), and attacks against Beijing’s allies are preparations adopted by the U.S. in anticipation of a future war.
In both “democratic” and authoritarian states, workers are made to pay for these preparations. Today, in the name of protecting national interests—fully supported by the bourgeois parties and their unions—repressive measures aimed at making strikes and workers’ struggles almost entirely illegal are justified. In the United States, these repressive measures take the form of ICE; in Italy, they take the form of the Security Decrees. These measures are not random: they have to adopt rearmament, both ideologically and materially.
Their *ideological preparation* is obvious in the legal measures that attempt by every means to prevent any autonomous workers’ opposition. Stepping outside and against bourgeois parties, electoral farces, and unions—whether openly collaborationist or posing as “alternative” —is tolerated less and less.
Material preparation takes the form of stagnant or declining wages, and cuts to services such as education, healthcare, and pensions in favor of the war industry and corporate profits in general.
Tomorrow, once the preparations are complete, our so-called motherland will force us, through imprisonment and martial law, to fight and kill our class sisters and brothers.
But our only *loyalty is to* our class, the class of the exploited in every country, the class of all those forced to sell their labor power just to make ends meet! Our only enemy is the bourgeoisie, both domestic and foreign: the global capitalist class is united in the exploitation of the proletariat!
We *have to* unite *beyond national identities!* Let us fight against racism and xenophobia, propagated by the bosses to weaken our class with useless and harmful divisions. To their “Italians first,” we reply “proletarians first”!
To put an end to the bourgeoisie’s attacks, we must step up the class struggle. When the theoretical and practical preparation of organized revolutionaries is combined with the class’s capacity for struggle and organization, this system can be scrapped. Therefore, it is essential to work toward the creation of an international revolutionary party.
True internationalists have to unite under a common banner. The class struggle inevitably clashes with the ongoing preparations for war. In this context, we reaffirm our support for the “No War but Class War” committees, which bring together revolutionaries on the basis of internationalism and aim to intervene in local struggles. They are not a substitute for the party, but the committees can organize an initial political response to imperialist wars that goes beyond the capabilities of individual organizations.
Down with exploitation and wars! Workers of all countries, let us unite!
