Kasım 1943'te Enternasyonalist Komünist Parti (PCInt), Aralık 1983'te ise Enternasyonalist Komünist Eğilim'in (ICT) öncüsü olan Devrimci Parti İçin Enternasyonal Büro (IBRP) kuruldu. Bu yıldönümlerini kutlamak amacıyla tarihimize ilişkin bu giriş bölümünü güncelledik. Bu girişin büyük bir kısmı, PCint'in ilk kez on yıl önce yayınlanan Settant'anni contro venti e maree (Rüzgarlara ve Gelgitlere Karşı Yetmiş Yıl) adlı iki ciltlik belge derlemesine dayanmaktadır. Diğer kısa tarihçelerden bazı paragrafların yanı sıra web sitemizde zaten İngilizce olarak bulunan belgelere bağlantılar ekledik. Bu çalışma, eğilimimizin yüzyılı aşkın bir süredir işçi sınıfı hareketi içinde nasıl geliştiğini anlamak isteyenler için kolay bir kronolojik referans noktası olarak tasarlanmıştır.
