The 2013 election campaign for the Bundestag is casting its shadow and conditioning the political confrontations of the present time. Normally, on these occasions, politicians outbid each other with all sorts of election promises, which are just as quickly forgotten after the election as they were pulled out of the hat. But, apart from the customary squabbling over the arrangements satisfying capitalism’s inherent needs, a yawning boredom is dominant. Even the ever more infantile attempts by the media and the opinion-making industry to convince us of the importance of this spectacle will not catch light. They are less and less able to deny that the purpose of this ritual of domination is to democratically legitimise the next social attack. Simultaneously, it can be taken for granted that the bill for the euro-crisis and the rescue of the banks will be presented after the election in the form of further cuts in pensions and social welfare. Nor will this be altered by the grandiose promises of the State Left, which claims it wants to “press for more social politics” and simultaneously announces its readiness, in case of doubt, to co-administer the fate of capitalism “more reliably than the SPD” (Gregor Gysi). Against these tricks of the State Left and their Trotskyist and Stalinist “critical” supporters, which are played again and again, we continue to hold the following programmatic text of our current to be an important starting condition for the development of communist politics. We have no choice but the international class struggle! Don’t vote, fight! (GIS)

The Internationalist Communist Tendency consists of (unsurprisingly!) not-for-profit organisations. We have no so-called “professional revolutionaries”, nor paid officials. Our sole funding comes from the subscriptions and donations of members and supporters. Anyone wishing to donate can now do so safely using the Paypal buttons below.

The CWO also offers subscriptions to Revolutionary Perspectives (3 issues) and Aurora (at least 4 issues):
Take out a supporter’s sub by adding £10 (€12) to each sum. This will give you priority mailings of Aurora and other free pamphlets as they are produced.
